Speak Abundance Into Existence
Your mouth creates your wealth. Every word you speak either attracts abundance or repels it, builds empires or tears them down, opens doors to prosperity or locks you in poverty. Learn to speak like the wealthy think—in terms of vision, possibility, and abundance.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). This isn't metaphorical—it's operational reality. Your words literally shape your imagination, activate your faith, and ultimatley determine your wealth. As Myron Golden teaches, words aren't just communication tools—they're the windows through which you see the world.
In Hebrew, the word for "speak" (dabar) is also the word for "matter." Words aren't just about matter—words are a kind of matter. God used words as building materials to construct the universe. When He gave humans language, He gave us His creative tool.
"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:3)
The invisible world is MORE fundamental than the physical. The physical is just a manifestation of the invisible. Your words operate in that invisible realm first, then manifest in the physical.
Words Activate Faith
Kenneth Hagin understood this principle: "Your mouth activates your faith... It takes words to activate your faith... Everything happens because of a word that's spoken."
This is why Scripture commands:
- "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt" (Colossians 4:6)
- "A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him." (Proverbs 12:14)
- "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled" (Proverbs 18:20)
When you speak what God has spoken about your situation, you install faith where doubt previously existed. That faith gives you the ability to take actions you couldn't take in doubt.
The Four Levels of Value Through Words
Myron Golden has a good framework for how words are critical to wealth generation:
Implementation (Lowest Value): Using muscles over time (instead of words). Limited physical resources trying to produce unlimited spiritual outcomes.
Unification/Management (Mid Value): Using leadership and communication to coordinate others. Words begin to multiply your efforts.
Communication (High Value): Using your mouth to deliver messages that move masses. Authors, speakers, consultants, actors—all create wealth through words alone.
Imagination (Divine Value): Using your mind to envision what doesn't exist. But here's the key: You can use words without thinking, but you CANNOT think without words. Steve Jobs changed the world with ten words: "It's a phone, it's a browser, it's a music player." In the AI age, this power multiplies—your words literally program both human teams and digital agents.
Your imagination is your most powerful asset, but it requires words to function. Expanding your vocabulary expands your world. As Jim Rohn discovered, prisoners have notably small vocabularies—words are the lenses through which you perceive reality. More words equal clearer thinking equal better solutions equal greater wealth.
The Spiritual Mechanics of Speech
Kathryn Kuhlman demonstrated how words carry anointing. When she spoke healing, bodies responded. Why? Because words aligned with God's will carry creative power.
This is why you must:
- Refuse profanity and negative speech—it literally corrupts your molecular structure
- Speak declarations, not just prayers—command situations like Jesus did
- Name your seeds—give your faith specific targets through specific words
- Become a person of your word—when your word becomes your flesh, people behold your glory
The Warning: Words Can Destroy
"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." (Matthew 12:36)
Your words create your world. Negative confession brings negative possession. Complaining, criticizing, and cursing create spiritual atmospheres that repel blessing and attract destruction.
The cultural hypnotic societal mechanism programs you to be negative because negative people are easier to control. Broke people are easier to manipulate than free people. Your words either align you with that system or break you free from it.
Your Word Must Become Flesh
"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 14:14)
Just as Christ was the Word made flesh, your words must become your flesh. When you say you'll do something, do it. When you make a commitment, keep it. When you declare your vision, live it.
Words without action are just noise. The power isn't in positive affirmations detached from reality—it's in speaking vision that compels action, declaring faith that produces works, articulating strategies that get executed.
Consider how those ten words about the iPhone weren't magic—they crystallized years of R&D, mobilized thousands of engineers, and gave clear direction to complex systems. The words shaped the work, but the work had to happen.
Your abundance declarations must lead to abundance actions:
- Speaking wealth while refusing to develop high-value skills is self-deception
- Declaring prosperity while avoiding calculated risks is fantasy
- Prophesying breakthrough while maintaining broke habits is delusion
As Scripture says, "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:26).
When you speak abundance properly, you're:
- Programming your reticular activating system to notice opportunities others miss
- Installing/activating faith inside that enables bold action you couldn't take in doubt
- Creating accountability that demands follow-through—when your word becomes flesh, you can dwell among those you gave your word to
- Building vision that guides strategic decisions
- Activating systems that compound your efforts
When your word becomes flesh:
- People behold your glory (testimony)
- They believe your story (influence)
- You create momentum that attracts resources
When your word doesn't become flesh, you have to hide from those very people. You lose credibility, influence, and ultimately, opportunity.
The highest-value communication skills—consultation, vision casting, deal-making—require deep expertise, systematic execution, and actual value delivery. Words open doors, but competence keeps them open. Words attract opportunity, but excellence captures value.
Speak the vision, then build the systems. Declare the outcome, then develop the skills. Prophesy your future, then prepare for it. Your words are the blueprint; you still have to build.
Reflection and Practice
Ask yourself:
- Do the words I speak daily build or destroy, bless or curse?
- Am I speaking God's promises or cultural programming?
- Do my words match my beliefs and actions?
- Am I developing high-value communication skills?
- Would I be comfortable if Jesus heard every word I speak?
Remember: You're made in the image of an abundant God who owns cattle on a thousand hills. Your words are seeds that produce financial harvest. The wealthy speak differently than the poor—they speak in terms of possibilities, not limitations; solutions, not problems; abundance, not lack.
In this age of AI and digital transformation, those who master language—who can articulate million-dollar visions, command both human teams and AI agents, and speak realities into existence—will create the future's wealth.
Stop speaking poverty. Start speaking abundance. Your words are your wealth.
