The Great Flipping
A poem about coming to understand that God uses what was meant for evil to build His Kingdom
I didn't understand why You allowed Hip hop to become a death cult, Taking what began as beautiful expression— Black communities finding their voice— And turning it into Satan's scalable weapon, Making poison synonymous with identity So people defend their own destruction.
But now I see You're using it. You're flipping it. The very genre that moved bodies toward death Will move souls toward life. The infrastructure built for poison Will carry Your medicine instead.
I didn't understand why You allowed Public schools to become indoctrination camps, Stealing children's minds and hearts, Programming them for slavery.
But You used it to wake us up— Parents rising like lions for their cubs, A Renaissance of faith-based education coming, Families taking back what's theirs. You're flipping it.
I struggled to understand why You allowed Your children to be massacred in Nigeria, Christians hunted like animals, Slaughtered for their faith.
But through their sacrifice We remember we're one Body— Not just American, not just comfortable, But bound by blood thicker than nationality. Christ's blood. One family. You're flipping it.
I didn't understand why You allowed Christianity to become dead religion, Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant— All making following You a performance Instead of a relationship, Rules instead of love.
But You're using even this— The failure of institutions Drives people to seek You directly, No middleman, no program, Just Father and child. You're flipping it.
I didn't understand why You allowed Harry Potter to enchant a generation, Teaching children literal witchcraft, Making sorcery seem noble.
But watch— Even J.K. Rowling might bend the knee, And millions who learned to love story Will learn to love the Greatest Story. You flip everything.
I didn't understand why You allowed So much trauma, so much pain, People so broken they run To anything but You for answers.
But those in darkness see light brightest. Former addicts make the best counselors. Ex-satanists expose the schemes. The wounded become healers. The very people Satan thought he owned Become Your special forces. You're flipping them all.
Every system built for evil— Every Hollywood studio, Every record label, Every social media platform, Every educational institution, Every technological infrastructure— You're going to flip them all.
K-pop's synchronized perfection Teaching millions to move as one? You'll use that infrastructure for worship.
TikTok's viral distribution system? You'll use it to spread revival.
The metaverse they're building for escape? You'll make it a mission field.
The AI they're training to deceive? You'll turn it toward truth.
This is the Great Flipping— Not destruction but redemption, Not abandonment but transformation, Taking what Satan spent centuries building And turning it inside out Like You turned Paul from Saul, Like You turned water to wine, Like You turn death to life.
I will never fully understand Your mind— The complete picture of why You allow what You allow, Why evil seems to win so long, Why Your children suffer so much.
But I've seen enough plot twists To know You're the Master Storyteller. Every tragedy becomes triumph. Every wound becomes testimony. Every stronghold becomes Your platform. Every empire built against You Becomes material for Your Kingdom.
Satan builds his towers high, Thinking he's winning, Not knowing he's just gathering Construction materials for You.
The infrastructure of evil Will carry the Gospel. The highways to hell Will become the highway of holiness. The pipes that carried poison Will flow with living water.
I don't need to understand The fullness of Your plan— My mind's too small for that equation. But I've learned to trust the Mathematician, To trust the Architect, To trust the Author.
You're overseeing a game Where You win with Your opponent's pieces. You're writing a story Where the villain's weapons Become the hero's tools.
So I thank You for what I don't understand. I thank You for the pain that births purpose. I thank You for the darkness that makes light precious. I thank You for the evil You'll transform to good.
Because this is who You are— The God who makes beauty from ashes, Who brings resurrection from crucifixion, Who turns the worst thing that ever happened Into the best thing that ever happened.
The cross looked like Satan's victory— But it was his defeat.
Every system looks like Satan's victory— But it's just more material for the flipping.
So flip it all, Lord. Flip the music industry. Flip the education system. Flip the entertainment complex. Flip the financial structures. Flip the technological platforms. Flip the cultural movements. Flip the generational traumas.
Take what was meant to destroy And make it deploy Your glory.
Take what was meant to deceive And make it believe Your truth.
Take what was meant to divide And make it unite Your people.
Take what was meant for death And make it breathe Your life.
This is the Great Flipping— And we're here for it, Ready to be Your agents In the grandest heist in history:
Stealing back everything The enemy stole, With interest, With increase, With multiplication—
Until every knee bows, Every tongue confesses, And every system built for darkness Blazes with Your light.
You're the God who uses all things— ALL things— For good, For those who love You, For those called according to Your purpose.
I don't understand it all. I don't need to. I just need to trust The One who does.
The Great Flipping has begun.
