We Are Faithful Because You Are Faithful
A Psalm of Gratitude for God's Perfect Direction
Lord, I just want to say thank You. Thank You for being our Divine Director, For orchestrating what we cannot understand today But will celebrate years from now.
We are faithful because You are faithful. You keep Your word even when we can't see how. We know that as we obey, we receive the blessings— Not someday, but every single day.
You fulfill Your promises. You illuminate our next steps The moment we take the step You asked us to take today. This is why we trust You with childlike wonder.
Like when You told Abraham to leave everything— His home, his family, his entire world— And go to a land he'd never seen. That obedience? It made him the father of nations, The friend of God, A blessing to every generation that followed.
Like when You told Noah to build a boat When rain didn't seem on the horizon. People mocked him for a hundred years, But that obedience? It saved humanity, Preserved creation, Became the greatest rescue mission in history.
Like when You told Moses to go back to Egypt— Back to the place he fled from, Back to face Pharaoh with just a staff and a stutter. That obedience? It delivered millions from slavery, Parted the Red Sea, Brought Your people to freedom.
Like when You told Mary— A teenage girl in a small town— That she would carry the Savior of the world. Her "Yes"? It changed everything. Heaven touched earth, Salvation entered history, The most beautiful story ever told began.
Like when You told Peter to step out of the boat In the middle of a storm, To walk on water when physics said it was impossible. That obedience? It showed that faith defies gravity, That with You, the impossible becomes the pathway, That miracles happen when we move toward Your voice.
Every time, Lord. Every single time. You tell Your children to do something that seems crazy, And it pays off in ways beyond imagination.
So we wake up excited every morning Asking: "What's the assignment today?" Not because we're perfect, But because You're faithful.
We're grateful to be part of Your grand story— The most beautiful story, The most redemptive story, The most loving story possible.
You're writing The Book of Us right now, And we trust the Author.
We don't need to see the full blueprint— Our minds are too small for that equation. We just need to take the next step You show us, Trust the next word You speak, Obey the next move You illuminate.
Because we've learned: Your instructions always lead to blessing, Your direction always leads to purpose, Your faithfulness always leads to breakthrough.
We are faithful because You are faithful. Come on!
You kept Your word to Abraham. You kept Your word to Noah. You kept Your word to Moses. You kept Your word to Mary. You kept Your word to Peter.
And You'll keep Your word to us.
So here we stand, Lord— Grateful for the journey we cannot fully see, Excited for the steps we haven't taken yet, Trusting in the One who's never failed, Who's never late, Who's always working everything together for good.
We love You, Father. Thank You for being our Shepherd, Our Director, Our Faithful God.
We're ready for today's assignment. We're ready to obey. We're ready to watch You do What only You can do.
Let's go.
